Good news finally for people with Intel PowerVR GMA 3600/3650 integrated graphics system found in Atom N2600.
Intel has finally released a driver for PowerVR GMA 3600/3650 for Linux last month, more precisely at 06.07.2012.
The driver is intended for Fedora and there is already work on going to make it available for other GNU/Linux distributions.
Alex Suykov has done a very good job at porting the driver to make it work under Arch Linux.
You can find the original drivers released by Intel at the link below:
Released notes can be found in the following link as well:
More information about the driver under Arch Linux can be found in the following thread at the Arch Linux Forums:
A mirror of Arch Linux packages for PowerVR GMA 3600/3650 32bit driver can be found at the link below:
Initial results show that brightness control now works, VGA works as well, suspend and resume also works fine.
HDMI hasn't been tested yet, so if someone can test and report how that works would be great.
Hope this was useful to you and again great news for people with Atom N2600 under Linux and congrats to all people working on porting the driver to your favourite GNU/Linux distribution.
